By opening a Third Coast Bank SSB account through Mayfair, your funds are held in a checking account at Third Coast Bank SSB offering up to the current standard maximum FDIC insurance of $250,000.

Customers who wish to opt into the Enhanced Deposit Protection Program must choose an account provided by Third Coast Bank SSB, and will have their funds placed into deposit accounts across a network of FDIC-insured banks for up to the current standard maximum deposit insurance of $250,000 per eligible depositor, per receiving bank, for each ownership capacity or category, including any other balances you may hold at that receiving bank directly or indirectly through other intermediaries, including broker-dealers. ³ Mayfair also partners with Stripe Payments Company for money transmission services and account services with funds held at Evolve Bank & Trust, Member FDIC. By opening a Stripe account through Mayfair, your funds are held at Evolve Bank & Trust and are eligible for pass-through FDIC insurance up to the current standard maximum FDIC insurance of $250,000. Mayfair and Stripe are not themselves FDIC-insured institutions. FDIC insurance coverage is only available to protect you against the failure of an FDIC-insured bank that holds your deposits and does not protect you against the failure of Mayfair, Stripe Payments Company, or other third party.
